Our First Christmas

Our First Christmas

Even though there's many gifts beneath our Christmas tree
You'll never find in any store, what you have given me
This is our first Christmas, and I hope you take to heart
Something I must say to you right from the very start

How could you wrap tenderness and how do you suppose
Gentle words could fit inside a box with pretty bows?
The way you hold me closely with ribbons can't be tied
And passionate caresses in a package cannot hide

How would you enclose a laugh or tender loving smile?
These are things you can't conceal or wrap in any style
The way you make me tingle with every 'I Love You'
Could never inside paper hide of yellow, red or blue

So as the snow is falling and the fireplace is aglow
There's something that I'm feeling that I wanted you to know
You are every present, you have made my dreams come true
My greatest gift is you, my love
My greatest gift is you
